Lennox Head

We arrived at Shelley and Graeme's home in Lennox on the 12th of December. The house and area is more beautiful and ideal than we imagined. A trendy little town with incredible beaches. We have discovered some of the local gems. Lake Ainsworth is situated acroos the road from the ocean. It is a fresh water lake with traces of tea-tree oils in it which is great for the skin. It was a bit creepy at first because the water is the color of tea (almost orange) and you can not see anything 2 inches below the surface (it looks black). It is great to rinse off in after being in the ocean (and it is as warm as a bath)

  1. Oh My!
I just checked out your location on the swell charts.
Here is a surf report site so you know what you might be facing on any given day:

It looks like wednesday and thursday are starting to look pretty good!
The size is about the same but should be a bit cleaner with a more organized wave pattern. (Look for a longer period....the time between waves 10-15 seconds is ideal) Try to get out on those days for sure!
On sunday it will be rather large out there...like 11 feet......stick to the shore foam and watch the currents! Or just watch from the shore, but have a look either way!

Oh you have no idea how much I wish I was there!
